The roller door has a distinct advantage over the traditional
up-and-over. Rolling into a compact space, they reduce the amount of space inside and outside the garage and are more secure.

Unlike an up-and-over garage door a roller door rolls up vertically and consequently doesn't swing out in front of the garage. This means you can park right up to the door, it also means that the ceiling of the garage can be used for storage as you benefit from more hanging space in the roof of the garage.
